tibre has launched more than 100+ new styles in the market with a strong presence in nearly 12 States of India at present. We have a total in-house facility for Design, Development, Stitching, Washing and finishing and ensure total quality control in our own house of manufacturing. tibre perfectly blends the comfort of cotton with the wearer comfort, without compromising the formal look.
The Company
The promoters of the company, Shri Ramesh Kumar Tibrewal and Shri Manoj Kumar Tibrewal when they were about 20 + started trade in cotton waste in Kolkata. In 1989, they ventured into recycling of waste by installing imported machinery, which few had done in the country. The success in cotton waste and subsequently in waste recycling led to forward integration. In the process was born Gangotri Textiles Private Limited on 26th July 1989. Convinced that large sized undertakings alone can have recognition, Gangotri Textiles Private Limited was converted to a public Limited Company on 1st June 1993. From then on there was no looking back.
Gangotri Textiles Limited now stands tall, equipped with 3 open-end spinning units spread over the frontiers of Coimbatore and Kolhapur, Maharashtra and a sophisticated ring-spinning unit setup at Udumalpet, near Palani. Gangotri not only focuses on cotton and yarn now, it has also successfully established its presence in the branded readymade wear market, with the successful launch of its men’s wear brand , manufactured and marketed by Gangotri Apparels, its apparel division.
In 2003, three of the yarn manufacturing units obtained ISO 9001:2000 certifications consecutively for quality management systems. We have commenced world- class integrated cotton to garment unit with a capital out lay of Rs. 351 crores. As the parent company is backward integrating, tibre will have a competitive edge in terms of patented designs, lead time for fabrics delivery, in the forthcoming years. The company employs over 1500 people, who share a common goal, to deliver a level of service that surpasses expectations. And one of many reasons that fuel the growth is the company’s ability to constantly expand its product range. With over 30 varieties, tibre is all set to delight its customers.
The company is supported by a 750 strong channel partner network and this is set to grow exponentially in the next few months itself. Across the country, tibre is now a key player. Expansion Plans
tibre’s parent company, Gangotri Textiles, at present manufactures Open- end yarn for home textile segment and ring spun for the knitwear industry. Gangotri also produces approximately 12 to 14 tonnes of yarn per day. In the count range of Ne20s to Ne40s.
tibre has plans to expand soon into the manufacture of premium garments for women and kids. This will position us as a complete garment manufacture in the premium segment. We plan to add 10 to 20 new products to our existing range and intend to improve our market share in various categories. Currently, tibre is being sold through its network of 750 retailers in various states in India.
